What is this?

The questioning theme continues today (and every day) with the Obliquiscope. A fun little manifestation of the question everything way of life. A smart and tangible nudge from John V Willshire and Smithery, that I wish I had made myself.

Fingers can be seen holding a bright green rectangle of plastic with a rectangle hole cut out of it. The words "What is this?" are written above the hole and a list below reads: What is if for? How did it get here? Who uses it? What else does it do? When is it used? Who made it? What is it made of? What does it exist?

A version in a sense, of the famous GDS ‘users window’, where the question is maybe more, ‘what do users need’ or ‘what do users want’ (alongside the broader prompt to remember that everyone in the UK is a GOV.UK user).

Funnily enough, this thought leads back to another Willshire idea that I wish I’d had: Make things people want > Make people want things.
