I let Twitter go fallow for obvious reasons, but even before, it felt hollow and depressing.

Threads now feels similar to old (stage 2?) Twitter. Just a bit too braggadocious, trendy, thirsty and fake.

On Bluesky however, I rarely feel bad when browsing. I wonder how things will continue to change?

Not that I have ever been or plan to be very active on social media. It’s never felt natural or comfortable for me to participate. And even my browsing is fairly infrequent.

I’m just wondering if Bluesky or Threads could continue to evolve into a state that I feel more comfortable with. Or if the same toxic bot stuff will happen in those spaces also. We’ll see.

Update, 24 Aug. The kind of Threads thirst I mean.
