A recent addition to my collection of personal parables, but one I’m noticing more and more.

It pops up when I see disconnects between disciplines, sectors, and silos. When a groundbreaking idea in one field turns out to be old news in another. Or when an exciting new industry innovation is, in reality, just another spin on the Double Diamond design process.

Worst of all? When I stumble across something in ancient philosophy that I was sure I’d come up with myself!
