Two odd little cases of being satisfied recently in France.
Firstly in a service station with this nice interface above the hand dryer. I was already pleased with things and this just added to my desire to push the green button. I wonder how they process or review the stats from this? If they correlate it with who’s on duty or offer bonuses for smiley faces?
Secondly this Le Tunnel train floor sign. There’s something about the illustration here that feels very hand made and human. It makes me more susceptible I think to heeding the warning. It’s also a little reminiscent of the work of Ben Wilson. Though not nice to imagine a chewing gum spot with a 30 centimetre diameter.
Also very satisfied by the symmetry of these two images. Green button smiley face for me too I think :)
